D193 - Signs

It's funny how I see 'running' is everywhere, and it's only a banana shot tonight because the sticker. Back to running, today was a break day, I will be back at it tomorrow seeing if I can knock out 3 miles under 11 minutes for each mile. The latest tip I learned to help get the most out of my run is leaning forward at the ankles, this helps get your feet under you to avoid heel strikes. Make sure you are not leaning at the waist that makes for a sore back, as I found out the first week. The best way to get your form down is to run up hills, you tend to run properly up a hill. Just have to remember the feelings and positions then try to run on flat ground.

D128 - Last Bunch V5

Today is the final banana shoot of the series. It has been fun and I'm sure there are still hundreds of options available to shoot. While editing tonight's image I was tempted to go back and shoot some more with the peel off, but that would have lead to another banana week. Onward to a new week.

4 banana shots in 4 days. For the image blow, it was all about following the curvature of  the bunch. I did drop the whole bunch on the floor, so it will be interesting to see which ones are bruised,

So glad it's the weekend, this will allow me more time to shoot some of the concepts for this series that I have sketched out. Also working on a separate series that I will attempt to knock out this weekend, outside of the 365. For now enjoy the freckled banana butts.  :)

Part 2 of shooting bananas, realizing I need a better stand for them. Today I added a little flash, off camera left. Also these bananas are getting pretty ripe, so I will have to get a another bunch to shoot. I think tomorrow will be some detail shots of the remaining ones.

D26 - Blade and the Banana

Wolverine! While he is not as bad as the honey badger, he can hold his own. If I had those blades, I would use them to chop up fruits and thing for Sara's lunch and breakfast.
