D222 - Re-up

The toughest part about missing a day is posting the following day. On my first 365, I would have woke up at 4 am or something to get the post up. This time around sleep, planning, play time with Sara, client images, and the pug (who takes forever to empty it's tanks) are taking priority and rightly so...except for the pug! Anyhow today's image was from a flower this morning that looked list a sun burst with the window light hitting it.

Enjoy.

D126 - Banana Curves V4

4 banana shots in 4 days. For the image blow, it was all about following the curvature of  the bunch. I did drop the whole bunch on the floor, so it will be interesting to see which ones are bruised,

Thanks,
enjoy.

D125 - Banana Ends V3

So glad it's the weekend, this will allow me more time to shoot some of the concepts for this series that I have sketched out. Also working on a separate series that I will attempt to knock out this weekend, outside of the 365. For now enjoy the freckled banana butts.  :)

Enjoy.

D124 - Banana V2

Part 2 of shooting bananas, realizing I need a better stand for them. Today I added a little flash, off camera left. Also these bananas are getting pretty ripe, so I will have to get a another bunch to shoot. I think tomorrow will be some detail shots of the remaining ones.

 Enjoy.

Signs of Spring

While it might not quite feel like it in North East Ohio, spring is in the vicinity. On my back way from the office, I spotted this small patch of daffodils holding their ground against the wind that was determine to de-petal them. The daffodils, new grass sprouting, and tree leaves budding are a sure sign of warmer weather on the horizon. I really enjoy shooting nature first thing in the morning, and having a little sun to soften the chill in the air is a bonus. Onward to a 'warm' spring!

Enjoy.
