D159 - Sky's the limit

Today was Sara's graduation from Pre-K, and it was a perfect day for it. clear skies, warm weather, and friends to celebrate with.

To Sara and her class Congratulations on the Graduation! The skies are truly the limit to what you can do! (It's almost like finding Waldo!)

D99 - Branching Out

I feel old(er) saying this but 'Back in the film days' my first lessons were from books and VHS videos by John Shaw an incredible nature photographer. Much of the focus dealt with learning your gear by practicing and shooting. Shooting from different angles and heights while going through your different settings. For me, I spent a lot of time and money taking pictures of trees. Laying in the grass and looking up to take different crops of the branches coming from the trees, looking for patterns and design in the lines. Tonight I revisited those days.

Enjoy.

D77 - Lines

Took a moment to capture some lines with the electric/telephone wires while we were out today. Interesting enough these reminded me of the lines you see in Japan. Of course in Japan there are twice as many clusters of lines and a decent humming noise coming from the wires.

Enjoy.

D57 - Beautiful Day

It was just a beautiful day, so Sara and I took a walk. Nothing fancy just clear blue skies. Of course I added a little bit of an evergreen to the capture, what can I say, I like trees.

Enjoy.

D9 - Moon Light

There was a beautiful moon out tonight, so I broke out the 300mm on the cropped body to capture a few closeups.

Enjoy.
