Today was the second day of the MS Pedal to the Point with riders going 150 from Sandusky to Brunswick Ohio to cross the finish line. The quote of the day was 'That last hill was a beast!', though I'm sure there were other words going through the minds of some of the riders. All in all, it was a great turn out and opportunity to raise money for the cause, find a cure for MS. The coolest part of this race is everyone is so nice and supportive of each others. I recall one racer saying 'It was tough this morning with the rain, but passing by people sitting the rain cheering us on, that made it worth it. How can you not push on?'. Now that is the truth!
If you ever get the opportunity to ride Pedal to the Point I would highly suggest riding it, or at least coming out the cheer the riders on. In the heat or rain it can be a grueling 150 miles, so a little motivation goes a long way.
Big Thanks to all the riders, families, supports, MS Staff and
volunteers, none of this would have been possible without you!
Enjoy these few moments from the race.

Brian

D166 - Dinner of Champs
Tonight the MS Society held it's annual Dinner of Champions Akron, honoring Dr. Luis Proenza and Theresa Proenza for all they have done to help further research for a cure to MS. It wasn't until I started volunteering to shoot the MS Walks did I realize how many people I knew with MS. So if capturing images from the events will help get one more person to get involved, then it is worth it as you never know who you inspire and what one more person can bring to the table. My team and I are still looking to inspire on our Race Across America as it kicks off this Saturday.
Enjoy

MS Society Pedal to the Point Event
This past weekend was the 25th anniversary of the National MS Society, Buckeye Chapter's, Pedal to the Point !! It was a great event! Really enjoyed seeing everyone who came out to help support the cause, cheer the riders on, and raise money to find a cure... even with all the rain we got. Here are a few images from the event:
And since we are celebrating 25 years of Bike MS, what better way to show some fun than with Balloons. No matter how good the day is, balloons just adds to it!
Enjoy!!
