D185 - Minimalist

Since I have been running lately, it seemed like a good idea to get some proper running shoes. Today, at the Cleveland Running Company in Shaker Heights, I picked up a pair of minimalist running shoes. If you have not been to this store and you run, this is a must stop for you whether you are a newbie or a seasoned runner. They take the time to answer all your questions, they are a great resource for upcoming 5Ks, tip how run with correct form, and what shoes are best for the runner. For the longest I thought the minimalist shoes were the ones where the toes are separated out and you didn't wear socks, I'm so glad I was wrong about that. Minimalist shoes are ones that allow your feet to work as if you were barefoot while wearing them. I will go into more details on tomorrows post.

D111 - Blue Guardians

Made a stop on the way home to capture the front of this church. Absolutely love the look of the front with the pillars, statues, and lights in the background. I would shoot a wedding here any day (hint hint).

Enjoy.

D105 - CLE at night

Today was a busy shooting day. It started with the MS Walk Cleveland shoot at he Cleveland Browns Stadium followed by second shooting a wedding in the afternoon. At the end of the night, I was able to capture this scenic view of the city.

Enjoy.

D68 - Cleveland

This shot is off the back of a sweater that I picked up, several month back, from GV Art and Design. They make some of the coolest Tees and Hoodies in the area. The designers are also know nationally for their Etch-a-sketch work that they present to celebrities all over the country. Check out their site. I'm already planning on picking up a few more Tees and a second hoodie.

Here is a second image from being out last night in Cleveland, goes well with the hoodie.

D67 - Night Lights

I always wonder if people are really working in the office buildings all night long or did someone just forgot to turn off the lights. Would also like the see the electric bill for a building the same size of the black middle one under the moon, granted one company owned the whole building.

Anyway, remember to turn off your office lights tomorrow night.

Enjoy

D51 - Cleveland Rocks

Since the ginger bread boy [GBB] cannot be trusted to hang out with Sara, I took him to work today to keep an eye on him. He got to see the sliding boards, awesome diner, ping pong tables, and the giant guitar in the front lobby area. GBB wanted to rock out for a little while I photographed the rock session. You can find these large guitars all over Cleveland and surrounding the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (latest inductions coming up in April!). Tomorrow, GBB and I will have some slide time!

Enjoy

Giving Back: MS Walk Cleveland 2011

Nn Saturday we spent the morning in Cleveland, at the Cleveland Browns Stadium, volunteering our services for the MS Walk. Perla and I just realized this is our 4th year participating (3 times in Cleveland and 4, by the end of the month, in Akron). One of the best parts of being involved is knowing we are helping make a difference and getting to know everyone over meeting at the events year after year. For us it is providing team and event photographs for the attendee as well as putting a smile on everyone's we meets face. Just a little thing to help make their day a little brighter.

The next walk is in Akron, April 30th at the Stile Athletics Field House on the University Of Akron campus. There is still time to get involved, here a link to the Akron 2011 Walk. I could always use an extra hand helping shoot or getting teams in and out of the photo area. You can shoot me an email at brian @ brian-palmer.net .

Enjoy your week!
