Perfect day for a wedding that is. Today wasn't too hot, had enough cloud cover to make the sky look interesting, and there was a nice breezes that would cool us off. We stopped off in a garden to capture a few images so I grabbed a few of the flowers to the image of the day. I was worried about getting stung by all the bees, but was lucky they were too busy collecting pollen.
Enjoy.

D191 - Cookie Table
Apparently I needed to recharge the previous night or run my post before the wedding and nightly run. Why? Because I crashed like a blindfolded driver going down snake mountain with no breaks. Side note: You have to hear my story about when my breaks went out going down a hill to a one way street. Anyway, it was a good crash though, and I was able to pace myself on the 3 mile run at 11 minute miles. Also, I learned another important lesson on the run, only wear what you intend to run with. I had an undershirt on, thinking I might get a little chilli, well that was the exact opposite of what happened. Now trying to take an undershirt off without taking off your upper-shirt (really Brian, upper-shirt?) while running since you are timing yourself is not a easy or graceful task. I am sure I looked like a fool trying. The things you do to keep your pace. From Saturdays wedding, Buckeyes from the cookie table, and they were delicious!! Love it when the parents of the couple insist I take something from the cookie table, it's so hard to say no.
Enjoy.

D190 - Recharge
I have a wedding to 2nd shoot in the morning, so up cleaning gear and charging batteries. Charging them reminds me of the commercial where the lady is sleeping on the bed and is getting recharged. I wish I could plug something into my bed to recharge me. Even better, a rapid charger so I didn't have the sleep the whole night. I'm sure in that case there would be some odd side effects. Sleep well and sleep deeply.
Off to sleep.
Enjoy.

D162 - Happy & Gorgeous
I attended my little sister's wedding today, and if you
don't know she is my Ace! Prior to her moving out of state some years back, we
hung out all the time. From skydiving, carnivals, shopping, to just watching
movies, I doubt we went 2 days without talking or seeing each other. Currently,
as I said, she lives out of state so we don't talk as much, nor do we see each
other as often as we'd like or should. But that does not change the fact that I
am incredibly proud of her for all that she has accomplished and was able to
overcome throughout her life. Today, I am especially proud as she starts a new life
chapter marrying her best friend Jeff at a beautiful ceremony in the park. The
wedding was simple yet elegant at the same time. The Pastor did not speak for
an abundance of time but we all held onto every word as if it was the first
ones heard in years. And being surrounded with close family and friends made
the celebration that much more meaningful.
It was a day you'd wished never ended, and the start of Jeff and my sister forever after.
Congratulations you two, love you both!
Yes, my sis is Gorgeous.

Iisha & Corwyn: Married!
Our good friends Iisha & Corwyn [CJ] are Married! They had a beautiful ceremony at the Grace Bible Church in Manchester, with not one dry eye as the vows were being exchanged. Everyone was touched by the emotional words of Iisha, as she spoke on how she felt when she almost lost CJ. CJ was seriously wounded in the war and had to spend months recovering in the hospital in DC. When he came back to Ohio, it was still a long road ahead. But you will see from the images, they are making amazing progress together.
After the ceremony, we went to the Akron Zoo Garden for pictures of the wedding party. Next, the party went to Guy's Party Center for the reception. Here are a few highlights from their wedding...
Perla and I thank you for giving us the opportunity to be a part of your amazing day.

Renee & Jeff Married April 3rd, 2010
On April 3rd, my good friends Renee & Jeff got married at the Amish Door Village in Wilmot, Ohio. It was a awesome day, though a little windy and overcast, but that made for great images. The service was beautiful and fun with Rev. Cathrine Daniels as the officiant. Thank you Renee & Jeff for letting us capture your wedding day and the joining of your families. Congratulations!
*On a side note the food was incredible!

Dani & Brent - Married!
Dani and Brent had a beautiful wedding on August 30th at the prestigious Perkins Mansion in Akron. Despite of the early forecast for rain we were all lucky to have a gorgeous morning wedding. During the ceremony they had a butterfly release to remember those who where no longer with us. One butterfly flew over and landed on Dani's bouquet, which had special meaning to her. Congratulations Dani & Brent, it was an amazing wedding. Images from wedding are available here

Enjoy!
