365 Project - Day 120

Day 120

For the last week my images have been all outside, taken in the early morning and some last at night. Capturing these shots I have really began to appreciate warm clothing and shelter. Even though I gripe about my gloves not being up to parr, they are certainly better than nothing. There were a couple times that my hands were seriously in pain from the cold while trying to capture the image I wanted. The image above had me thinking about all of the people out there who have less and have to stand strong for their families in these cold and tough days. For all those reading this post, if you are able to, make it a goal to give back to your community this year. Later this week I'll highlight a few options including ones that we are going to be a part of in 2010.

Large version on Flickr.

Enjoy.

Ja mata,
Brian

I hear you about the cold! While we don't have THAT much snow here in the south, we have had record low temps here for a week. With the windchill at "0" this weekend, I've complained about my gloves, too. Still, this photo makes me want to walk into it, to feel the crunch of the snow under my feet and see my breath in front of me...beautiful!

Wow, this picture is so amazing! I used to live in Michigan and I can definitely commiserate on how cold it gets! I'm not living in Thailand soooo I don't really get it that much... just a lot of rain. Your pictures as so amazing I will definitely be following you more!

I'm doing a 365 project as well! Just started January 1st, but I'm trying to find the things in Thailand that I find normal whereas other people will find them interesting!
